Ophelia Balls is one of the North East’s legendary drag queens, entertaining audiences for over three decades. From small local bars to UK theatre tours alongside RuPaul queens, she’s done it all and is still going strong. A familiar voice on Pride Radio’s breakfast show,a regular DJ at Scotswood Showbar as well as hosting the Newcastle Dreamboys Show for 2026,she’s never forgotten her roots and remains committed to supporting community events and Prides across the region.
